Chicken hearts and rosemary both have heart healthy benefits and when combined with a balanced amount of three cheeses, it makes for a healthy and flavourful treat for your pets with many vitamins, minerals, and protein.
Did you know?
Chicken hearts are a lean protein that contains many vitamins and minerals such as fatty acids, vitamin A, iron, and B vitamins. They also contain the amino acid taurine which is great for your dog’s heart and more.
Rosemary not only makes these treats smell amazing, but they also contain many beneficial vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium, and vitamin B6. Rosemary can also help with digestive problems, diarrhea, and gas. This fragrant herb also has antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties and cardiovascular benefits.
We all know dogs love cheese, that’s why I combined three cheeses together in a healthy moderation for this treat recipe. Cheese contains protein, calcium, vitamin A, essential fatty acids, and B vitamins, and both Mozzarella and cottage cheese are low in fat.
